Through a year of adventure and interior exploration, Despertar sigue a dos jóvenes documentalistas minetras recorren en bicicleta Asia y Japon para reconectar con la vida en un mundo que se morona. From the forests of Tailandia to the groves of Cat Ba, from the macacos of Kamikoshi to the mountains of Mount Fuji, the film unfolds as an introductory tour of each encounter turns into a llamado: to return to the rite of the world. At the top of Fuji, at the edge of Goraikō's temple, a truth is evident: to protect life is not a mission, but a vote.

 

Filmed for a year, the film was released in Japan and recreated a cycling adventure of a year, from France to the mountains of Fuji. A peaceful route, guided by landscapes and sights. El Despertar is an independent film produced by the Imagineer's World association.
