INTERNATIONAL ACTIONS
TO BRING THE PROJECT TO LIFE AT THE HEART OF THE TERRITORIES CROSSED
Internationally, Imaginer's World works directly within the Last Refuges project, across the territories it traverses. Actions are carried out wherever the project unfolds, in conjunction with recognized cultural and scientific networks capable of transforming a field presence into concrete spaces for dialogue.
The project is based in particular on:
→ The Fondation des Alliances Françaises, whose local network allows the organization of screenings, meetings and workshops as close as possible to the public;
→ The UNESCO MAB programme, in connection with biosphere reserves and actors committed to the preservation of life.
ACTIONS TAKEN ON THE GROUND
The interventions take place near the national parks, nature reserves, and protected areas they cross. They are implemented in simple and easily activated forms:
→ Screenings of documentary films followed by discussions
→ meetings with local stakeholders in the living sector
→ Language and storytelling workshops focused on observed ecological realities
Each action is designed in connection with the host structures and local contexts.
A CHANGE OF SCALE
These actions allow the Last Refuges project to cross a threshold: the field becomes a space for observation, creation, and international action. They give the stories produced a concrete, measurable, and lasting impact, and establish documentary creation as an active tool for dialogue between territories and audiences.
ALLIANCES & FRENCH HIGH SCHOOLS

The Imaginer’s World association develops cultural and educational programs in collaboration with the Alliance Française network in various countries.
These initiatives are driven by a clear objective: to create spaces for dialogue about life, biodiversity, and our connection to the world.
Within the Alliance Française branches and French schools, several formats are offered, always adapted to the audiences, levels, and local contexts and challenges.
SCREENINGS & CONFERENCES
We present the documentary film "L’Éveil" (The Awakening), followed by a Q&A session with the audience. These events provide an opportunity to share firsthand experience and, above all, to open up accessible and practical discussions about environmental issues.

MEETINGS & INTERVIEWS
Workshops are set up to encourage participants to become active participants in the discussions. Learners develop their own questions, conduct interviews, and improve their listening, speaking, and structuring skills.
TRANSMISSION WORKSHOPS
Public speaking, writing, documentary approach, observation of living things… These workshops aim to transmit simple tools and awaken sensitivity, in direct connection with real experiences.

These activities are designed as genuine opportunities for connection, where everyone can find their place, express themselves, and gain a perspective on the world around them.
The goal is simple: to inspire a desire to understand the living world and to foster connections among those who are interested in it, whether directly or indirectly.
ACTIONS IN FRANCE
CREATING LASTING CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE PUBLIC, TERRITORIES, AND LIVING PEOPLE

A REFERENCE PROJECT: THE GISÈLE GUILLEMOT COLLEGE
Since the sixth grade, an entire cohort of students from Normandy has been guided by Alexandre and Romain around a common theme: their relationship to living things, to their land, to the future, and to storytelling. Over several years, the students:
Discover the documentary approach in the field;
-They question their connection to nature and societal choices;
-They learn to observe, formulate, write and tell stories.
In 9th grade, this path culminates in a strong group project:
the writing of the script for a documentary adventure, which will be filmed at the end of the Last Refuges project in 2027.
